The obvious answer would be I have always wanted to be a mom. For those who know me, it’s that and a whole lot more.

There was many moments over the last two years that I began to see the signs of the adoption path that was laid out before me. But a series of events lead up to the day when I could no longer ignore the signs. It just happened to be Christmas Eve. I guess it’s no coincidence that’s my mom’s birthday. I have absolutely no doubts that mom and dad are guiding me through this journey.
